MMCX connector repair on SE846
I posted in a forum in Korea and they recommended a semi-pro DIYer to fix it. I paid around 50$ for the repair. You can contact him in Naver "cafe"(forum-ish thingy). https://m.blog.naver.com/PostList.nhn?blogId=gevab80 Or I can contact him for you if you don't mind paying the international...- legokangpalla

MMCX connector repair on SE846
So this is a part rant and part cry for help. One of my earpiece was jammed with the connector wire and when I disconnected it, the pin in MMCX on the earpiece broke off and got stuck to the wire. For comparison I think this is not a serious damage and when I asked Shure Asia to help me get...- legokangpalla

[REVIEW]: Noble Audio Kaiser 10: 10-driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitor
Quote: I don't have a specialized DAP, but I use my Android phone with C5D DAC+Amp(via provided OTG cable). C5D IMO is one of the best DAC + amp for IEMs and K10 is no exception. The sound is just fantastic. Compared to P1 which is quite warm IMO, more neutral sounding C5D will sound a...- legokangpalla

Looking for IEM or "carry"/"walkable" headphones with CIEM grade noise dampening and good quality. Budget around 1000$
I've recently made move to Kaiser 10 which I love to death. However, I got them during Christmas sales where I was visiting my relatives in Korea. After visiting 10 different clinics there, none of them were experienced with making ear moulds for CIEM. As a result, K10 have slightly loose...- legokangpalla

Unique Melody Platform Pure 6 (PP6) - review (1st post), discussion, appreciation, & tour thread
I've been getting similar results with my PP6 with USB Audio player for Android before the L update-and I doubt my phone will get one. I usually use it with my laptop though, the declipper from SA tools are quite amazing. Recently did a demo of Kaiser 10 and JH Roxanne in Soundcat S.Korea...- legokangpalla

[REVIEW]: Noble Audio Kaiser 10: 10-driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitor
After doing a demo, I've ordered my K10 during the black friday deal. One question I have though is driving this pair. In the site it says the impedance is <35, I guess this is the recommended output impedance of the headphone not the load impedance of the headphone itself? This puzzles me...- legokangpalla

Crossover cables? Damn, I would love to get one. So far, what has it been nearly a year now? My PP6 has been good. Although I do prefer warmer tone, the experience of PP6 has always been more or less pleasant. Few things: a) Declippers are essential IMO with the PP6. I never really felt...- legokangpalla

PP6 cable is really annoying! After 4 months of use, it becomes really loose. I mean they delayed the delivery to change the cable design to something that is more secure, obviously didn't work. Am seriously considering just using a glue.- legokangpalla

Quote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cxiHUbSazE At 0:30 he does mention DSP...now I'm not sure if he is talking about DSP in DAC or DSP for other purposes. I should send an email to UM because I would love to know if the active-crossover thing works with analogue signal. I haven't...- legokangpalla

Quote: If the Tri-amp in PP6 was done by DSP like most active amps nowadays, wouldn't it need digital input to correctly perform active crossover? EDIT: I mean "splitting" the audio signal into three amps.- legokangpalla

Quote: UM, that set up is not working with other Android devices ATM eg: Transformer Prime, Nexus 4, and Galaxy Nexus. Also, it would be marvelous for someone in UM to make an app-player or plugin for other players like PowerAMP- for PP6 usb. Cheers.- legokangpalla

Sorry for the lateness and poor quality of the review. I was away on a skiing trip and when I read bmicheal's post, I was like "damn, I completely forgot about that." I tested 25 songs a day and took awhile. I'm still doing more tests-perhaps with AAC and different set ups. Tell me what you guys...- legokangpalla
