The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
I have both, and I'll be honest, I do love the DT1350's. Hopefully you'll have a similar reaction :) (although bear in mind that you might have to adjust the position of them over your ears right when you first try them, but i just auto put them on 'right' nowadays every time)- kyledotroberts

Yeah, I kinda have to agree with Lord Soth. I'd have just used the Amazon 30day returns saying they are faulty and leave it at that. That is what makes amazon just flippin' amazing to deal with, especially for headphones or other audio/electronic equipment!- kyledotroberts

[GUIDE] How To Properly Dampen Your Beyerdynamic T1
Just tried this yesterday, ordered the biggest felt pads I could get off amazon (50mm x 4mm) which seemed pretty thick and densely packed together! But after giving them a go all the same I can definitely agree that the change is very noticeable and for the majority of the music I listen...- kyledotroberts

Fidelia + FHX User Settings
Ah is that the case? Originally I had it set to -0.5 which was way too much (I'd started playing listening to something with lots of treble initially). In the end I moved it right the way down, after more trial and error, to literally just -0.1dB I even tried turning it on and off...- kyledotroberts

Just to add to this discussion for those who havent yet tried out FHX on Fidelia My initial settings after a fair amount of playing (and a thankyou to paconavarro for his Canz3D settings many moons ago) I've ended up with Speaker Angle = 44 degrees Most Realistic Crossfeed = 76% Also...- kyledotroberts

Fidelia questions....
I've been recently trialling the FHX settings as I've a basic license at the mo. Wondering who else uses Fidelia FHX and what settings they've found they enjoy? A long time ago I used a plugin called Canz3D but havent done anything with crossfeeding in ages... I want to make...- kyledotroberts

Listening Volume
Since posting I've spent a fair amount of time today listening at lower volumes and noticed quite a difference. Instead of before, where if I felt mids/bass needed some more I'd knock up the volume a notch or two, now I've been going the opposite way and found that by infact decreasing the...- kyledotroberts

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Thanks for the comparison guys, I'm mostly listening to rock and I listened the the HD600's quite a bit before getting my T1's. Also I think that surprisingly lowering my general level of listening volume has helped me get more into the T1's. By raising the volume to try and get more...- kyledotroberts

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Yeah to be fair, after about 20mins of playing I went back to max comfort and I think that maybe this is in fact the best position for listening anyway :P I'm so used to pushing headphones down and forwards with centralised drivers that for a while when I first got the T1's I used to move...- kyledotroberts

Listening Volume
Quote: Yeah this is something I do try and keep to, there are some songs that I sometimes feel don't have enough punch to them at med volume (i'm at 50% right now) but the minute I up it to 60% and then want to go back down it takes a good 5mins for me to once again become happy with...- kyledotroberts

Also another thing I've noticed with the T1's more than any other headphones I've used is that whilst I wouldn't say they are super sensitive to positioning, they are easily affected by wrong positioning, especially if you've gotten up and moved your head whilst wearing since they've minimal...- kyledotroberts

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
So for the HD600's it is worth potentially upgrading cables? For sound reasons or just for durability? edit: I honestly have looked into this before via posts and forum search etc but I still get back to the same questions... Some are big believers, and others are waving the ABX...- kyledotroberts
