    Headphone Sightings 2

I just saw someone rocking PS1000's in the Netherlands in the train from Utrecht to Rotterdam, presumably with his gear in an American Book Club messenger bag. Considering only a few obscure high-end retailers carry Grado against obscene premiums in The Netherlands, I'm guessing he's an American...

Review: Philips CitiScape Uptown (Updated Sept 18, 2012)

[BIG EDIT] For the people who've read my comments before this, most of my problems with driving these cans from my laptop have been resolved with a fresh install of audio drivers from the realtek website in stead of the drivers supplied by my laptop manufacturer.   My pair doesn't have the...

Review: Philips CitiScape Uptown (Updated Sept 18, 2012)

I've just got my pair. I can confirm that there's only a microphone built in and no volume rocker. The uptowns are actually quite difficult to get here at the moment, but they're frequently sold for about €50 ~ ish

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

I've just bought these based on the reviews posted here on Head-Fi. I've been grinning like an idiot with these in my ears walking home. I hope shures customer service is as good as it was a while back, in that case I'm set for the next two years.

    I'm poor - E2C cable tear help

I've had my trusty E2C's since 2007 and the cable had cracked numerous times. I've always sent them back to get them repaired. Since my warranty has expired I've always treated my buds well, trying to avoid to stress the cable too much. But finally the isolation has cracked on the part that goes...

Problems with shure E2C plug, need some info.

I've just got my Shures back from warranty from a cable tear about 2 months ago. The problem I have now is that the cable, i think, doesn't connect with the plug properly. Firstly: Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty? Secondly: I need something to keep my cables tidy in my...

    Help repairing PK2

Ok i've just put a new plug on it. Putting a new plug on the PK's is a FAR bigger bitch than you think. For those who have seen the cable of a PK2, it's really thin, yet more durable than you think. But the thinness comes of no further internal isolation other than a really thin plastic film...

    Help repairing PK2

My Pk2's got stuck behind something while riding my bicycle and got yanked pretty hard. The sound in the left channel has vanished, but it returns when I move the cable a bit near the plug and it works as long as it is in a certain position. Does anyone know how to repair the cable? Sending...

eCheck function from PayPayl worries me

Yesterday I ordered YUIN PK2's with paypal's eCheck function, now as far as i know paypal will just get the money from my bank account then and send it to nankai. I must admit that this is convenient but now if someone finds my paypal password they can just rip my bank account completely empty...
