Actually have the Xelento, extremely satisfying and great sound but just couldn't help adding a flagship iem to my collection. Went ahead and bought the 64 Audio U18, will hopefully post some comparisons between them and the Xelento :)

Any audible differences between the Forte and U18 that you can remember? Thank you very much for the help! I just love my Ether Flows, spectacular sound quality :)

Forgot to add that I would mostly be using a Chord Mojo or the AK300 with them. After reading a bit more now I'm torn between the Zeus and the Forte :triportsad:

I'm in the market for a TOTL universal iem. I'm undecided between the 64 Audio U18 Tzar, JH Audio Layla II or the Empire Ears Zeus XVII Adel. Anyone here who may have heard one or some of them and could compare them? I'm looking for an iem that has tight but impactful (when called upon) bass...

Got the Mjolnir 2 with Gumby a few weeks ago and have to say it's been absolute treat. Coming from the Jotunheim, this combo is a great upgrade and my Ether Flows are driven amazingly. Using some '68 orange globes, really smooth and warm tubes, just what I like :beyersmile:

Wow, I can see what you mean about saving money. I think I'll look into DIY'ing a cable (may just look into using the same materials you listed :P). My dad knows plenty about soldering, I guess he can teach me. Thanks for the recommendation ThurstonX!

Hey everybody, I've been enjoying my recently purchased He-500 very much but the stock cable has started to annoy me. Are there any good replacement options that won't break the bank? (Preferably under $100)   Found this, looks pretty nice and is right on the border of my budget...
