Shanling M0: USB DAC out while BT receiving?

I don't know about the Q1, but I assume this functionility would apply to more expensive model. Just FYI, my Cayin N3 also also has Bluetooth receiver > digital out. I think my Hiby R3 pro does too but I haven't tried it.

    The Stax Thread III

Thanks JimL11 and everyone for the feedback. "coupling caps" may have been lost in translation from Japanese... They're the two large caps between the tubes in the photos... Maybe coupled because they are zip tied together? Sounds like these mods are not well established, even if the builder is...

    The Stax Thread III

^ looks brand new! I am considering buying the below upgraded SRM-T1 recommended by admedie (for ESP-95x and eventually a Lambda), can anyone comment on these modifications? The PIO coupling caps look pretty close to the tubes compared to stock.. they're labeled -40 to +85 deg C and towards the...

    The Stax Thread III

I did read about that, but it didn't seem very conclusive... I think Woo's response was that they have never had a claim for damaged earspeakers because of this? Is Woo not a reputable company?

    The Stax Thread III

Thank you for the replies! Unfortunately, while i can audition Stax locally, e-Earphone always has music playing so listening to open backs is difficult. Last time I visited, I auditioned an L500 and SR-007 on a SRM-D50 and I believe a T8000 for about 30-40 minutes... I did not realize how loud...

    The Stax Thread III

I have spent a significant amount of time searching for relevant answers, and haven't found conclusive feedback besides a few forum responses here and there... I currently live in Tokyo and own the Koss ESP-95x with a Stax adapter cable on the way. I intend to eventually get L700mkII before I...

Shanling M0: USB DAC out while BT receiving?

When I connect my smartphone via Bluetooth (any codec) to my Shanling M0, the USB DAC out cuts off, and only the headphone out works. As soon as I disconnect Bluetooth, it switches back to USB DAC out mode. Is there a setting I am missing to allow the M0 to use an external DAC while acting as a...

I am not sure about replay gain capabilities, but have you considered the Cowon Plenue D ($200)?

Looking for a Mid-Range Portable Player

Following this thread. I just received a Fiio X1, and it is leaving a bit to be desired. I don't love the interface, there is a lot of lag time when selecting new songs, battery life is weak, and I expected it to be a smaller player for what it is (I should have checked the dimensions). I...

http://www.head-fi.org/t/683118/mr-speakers-mad-dog-3-0-3-2-amp-pairing-recommendation-discussion-thread didn't realize there was a MD thread specific to amp pairing ... I see you posted for the Little Dot 1+ there :) . Maybe your results were less favorable because you have the Mad Dog Pro...

**MrSpeakers Mad Dog: Impressions and Discussion Thread**

Will do, elessartelconta! iamxLn, I am well aware of your results using the Little Dot 1+ instead of the Magni as I have read thru several pages of this thread in the last couple days while deciding on the Mad Dogs ;) ... but let me ask, you were using the Schiit Magni original, correct? From...

    Any headfi-ers in Connecticut?

I'd be interested in a CT meet, but I don't have anything very high end to share right now. I'm 20 min south of Hartford.

Calling all Harmon/Kardon Soundstick owners!! (well, just one will do)

Unplug the green 1/8" cable from your source, and plug in your headphones instead. No other way to through the Soundsticks or sub. If your source is a desktop computer if you keep the Soundsticks plugged in to your rear panel's headphone jack, you can plug headphones in to the front, and it...
