WMA Sweet Spot
If space on disk is not a problem , i've found the best compromise for Zune and ZVM with wma @ quality 98 (VBR, about 350kb/s as target) To my ears, this sound better than Lame 350kb/s CBR- Funk4U

Any open phones better than PX100 but still portable??

Ok, Zune or Zen M

Ok, Zune or Zen M
I've both! If you like a simple, clean and effective interface, go for Zune. If you are more on the geek side, you wolud prefer the more configurable ZVM. Soundwize, i prefer ZVM to Zune (EQ off on both the players).- Funk4U

New Sennheiser CX-300 sounds horrible...
I have the original one and i i found them really poor in term of sound quality, really fatiguing sound and in my case is not a sealing problem (i have the bass but not the quality)... Last but not least, the cable is really irritating for the exaggerated microphonics, i hate it! No, thanks!- Funk4U

Kenwood HD30GB9 arrived!
I think that if the power amplifier work in class D, it should have a low pass LC network in the output and this NEED to be matched to a proper impedance to work correctly. The player is designed to work with headphones in the 16-60 ohms range, connecting the headphones out to a line in may...- Funk4U

IEMs and sound quality
Ok, seem to be clear that IEM's and full (and maybe "compact") size can's are different animals. Infact, when i listen to CX300 i found a totally different kind of feeling relating to my headphones (Beyer DT880, PortaPro and PX100). I simply can't listen to CX300, for me is a too fatiguing...- Funk4U
