Try swapping the tubes to the opposite channels and see if the noise follows it could be that you have a noisy/microphonic tube. If the sound swaps channels at least you know its not the headphones and you can start thinking about upgrading the tubes in the lyr. Personally I have only listened...

I bought the MS1is and found that I didn't like the sound signature. Try selling them on eBay I managed to get back what I paid for mine even including the import duties I had to pay and royal mails handling fees.

I thought the MS1s were the same price posted worldwide. They were when I purchased some last year.

my wife had the same problem as you and the only ones that we could find that fitted well were small complys I think they were the small TX400s
