DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Hey guys, I've been looking to get my Denon 751's recalled in the UK without much success. The cable went somewhere around the jack as they usually do. I had a go at soldering on a new jack before which worked for a while but it was a bit of a hash job... Would anyone be willing to offer their...- Duffy1207

Need new IEM's or some recabling advice
I'm very interested to see the outcome of this, own a pair of C751's and C710's that have failed due to cable problems, the C710's have gone at the jack and the C751's seem to have gone by the y splitter, always intended to try fixing them but never got round to it. Anyone know of any basic...- Duffy1207

WARNING: Fake IE8s! Comparison pictures included!!
Hi, I purchased these from ebay a few days ago. They were advertised as "barely used." They came without the original box but with the carry case (Which I'l get onto shortly), tips, clip, earclip thingies and the salt packet you get to put in the case with them. I thought they may be fake due to...- Duffy1207

Repairing/Replcing Denon C751's
I have a pair of denon C751's which have just started playing up due to a bad connection in the cable where the seperated left and right cables go into a small plastic shield type thing and then come out the other end as seperate cables, but stuck together if you know what I mean. As a follow up, I bought some Denon foldin headphones which came with a cable of the same length, but it was much worse quality and broke after 2 months. I've since emailed Denon again and still got no response. I can't find a cable of the same length or a different length one of good qualtiy...- Duffy1207

NSX, is that the same as formula student? I've just started at swansea and want to get involved, but they don't seem to keen to let us 1st years do much. Where/what do you study? That's the 1st one of these (if its a formula student car) with wings, you're very lucky to have a wind tunnel...- Duffy1207

IEM user switching to full sized/travel headphones for home use from laptop/ipod, £50 budget
I think I'm looking for just folding headphones now, the Denon's I mentioned are tempting, the AH-P372. Can anyone suggest any other folding headphones for a similar price (£40) that fits what I want to use them for.- Duffy1207
