what's up with locking the mini meta thread?
Actually, I have designed myself a Blockhead. But I would never put it in the DIY area, as I am an adherent of the blob method of soldering. Or is it, "the designer is a blockhead" ? I will go away now....- danny

anyone live in wyoming?
There is a speed limit in Montana. Wyoming may have 2 million sheep, but not nearly that many people. (~495,000) The winters are not that bad. Just make sure you do something outside when you can. There is no such thing as 'good grits'. (I grew up in North Florida (the redneck riviera))...- danny

Good lord(Headroom Little)
All HeadRoom products at the show are current production units. Except... for the identical 'old' 'Maxed Out Home' amps in the Headphone case which have been upgraded to Premium modules.- danny

Pots, damned pots
I would have said wry, or tongue-in-cheek, myself. At this time we do not offer a balance control in our 'lesser' amps.- danny

DIY attenuator cable for Porta Corda?
Joe, Use the voltage divider method (4 resistors). Do not over engineer the thing, especially until you have the values picked. Your smallest resistor should probably be 1K. (nice round number, and the divider will not load your source) Use 1% or better resistors, or you may add to your...- danny

Pots, damned pots
We do have a two pot option. It is called the BlockHead. For a slight fee, we will be more than happy to upgrade your Airhead to the BlockHead.- danny

Pots, damned pots
Jan is correct. The pots in ALL versions of the arihead are the same, no matter what year they were built. The old 3V regular airhead had some design issues. That is why it was discontinued. For those of you who have to have one of the 3V Total Airheads, I suggest you call Todd. We will...- danny

Older 3V Airhead vs. New 4.5V Total Airhead
Actually, the holes magically appear overnight. We think the good elves are doing it, as the milk and cookies we leave out are always gone in the morning. Rather amazing actually. It is the real reason we redid the airhead, as we had to put something in the hole. In fact, the Democratic party...- danny

Older 3V Airhead vs. New 4.5V Total Airhead
The switches, pot, external power connector, headphone jack(s) and the case are identical on the (old) 3V airhead, and all of the new family of airheads.- danny

Sugden Headmaster vs. Headroom MOH review
Just to set (some) of the record straight. You do not need to use any sort of DSP to generate a time delay or crossfeed signal. None of the HeadRoom products use any sort of DSP to generate their crossfeed signals. (as of this writing) While it is possible to implement a 'reverb' with...- danny

want tips for the beginner
Tips for beginners.... 1. do not play in traffic 2. turn off the power supply AND unplug the unit before working on unit. 3. make sure large electrolytic caps are discharged BEFORE putting fingers, screwdrivers etc., inside unit 4. make haste slowly 5. NEVER reply to a marketing...- danny

You will not hurt the Airhead with either setting. (hopefully I am in the 'someone that knows what they're talking about' category...) -
Headroom Total Airhead 4.5 First Impressions
It sounds like you have a bad volume control pot. Please return the unit, so we can replace it with a good unit. Please return it with a note that I (Danny) want to see the unit. Thank you, and I apologize for all of here for the inconvenience this has caused you.- danny
