EC Zana Deux tube rolling pls share
I just received a RCA 5691 and found it to be a good improvement over the sovtek 6sl7gt that came with the ZD for the HD800. However, I found that I preferred the sovtek tube with the HD650. It seemed to have better treble extension. I am looking at the possibility of getting a 6su7gty or a...- Dababy

Next upgrade from Sennheiser HD650
Honestly I would just upgrade your amplifier. The HD650 scales so well that if its the sound you like you will struggle to find something as good. A headphone that compliments the HD650, however, might just be the ticket. Have you tried modifying the hd650?- Dababy

Dekoni pad massdrop for HD800(S) - any advice?
Has anyone tried using the original dust cover and cutting the fabric out of the pads? I find that the stock dust cover helps to control a lot of reflections in the HD800 ear cups.- Dababy

When I first tried the ZDS with the Utopia I realized very quickly just how magical the pairing is. It't just that to my ear the utopia becomes hard to listen to pretty quickly. Similar to how I found the HD800 harder to listen to for long periods of time compared the the HD650. Honestly the...- Dababy

I am pairing it with the HD650 and HD800. I have a utopia but it has become too fatiguing for me to listen to and thus have placed an order for a ZMF Auteur. Here is an obligatory pic which I failed to attach the first time around.- Dababy

Crack;Bottlehead OTL
This does look like a very neat solution! I found that my EC ZDS with triangular rubber feet isolates vibration very well. I wonder how rubber spike would work under the granite....- Dababy

Crack;Bottlehead OTL
I have found that the Crack is very sensitive to microphonic, almost not matter what tube you put in. Anyone have any ideas on chassis modifications to make it more stable and isolate more vibrations?- Dababy

Chord Electronics Qutest DAC - Official Thread
Anyone have any impressions comparing the Schiit Gumby and the Chord Qutest? I got the chance to hear a DAVE in my setup alongside my gumby and it wiped the floor with it. The DAVE was more musical, clearer, and more engaging. So how would the Qutest compare?- Dababy

I would like to introduce to you the 135th ZDS! I was looking at an upgraded 6sl7 tube, however, the Mullard ecc35 are above 200$! I am looking for a tube that is smooth, clear and maybe emphasizes mids a bit. Any recommendations?- Dababy

SE846 vs Audeze Sine
Hi all, I know these two are not directly comparable but I have an opportunity to get one of them. Which one do you guys think will sound better or which one would you prefer? Why? Also any clever ideas for a long other than the chord mojo, anything more reasonably priced? (Not that the chord...- Dababy
