i dunno....herbie's stuff looks mighty cool...but i am a bit skeptical. how can a small piece of plastic around the top of the tube absorb vibration? I thought it would go on the base of the tube between the amp and the tube itself. I mean, my listening environment has virtually no noticeable...

Hey all... just wondering if Tube coolers are a die hard necessity for the new MPX-3 amps. I know that Mikhail designed the amp so that the tubes aren't pushed too hard...but the amount of heat it generates scares me . Apparently parts connextion has a sale on the 6sn7 coolers, and their...

yesiree...music hall mmf-cd25 w/ level 1+ mods from partsconnexion. I also threw in the new LC Audio XO3 superclock I just registered with photobucket.com...i'll take more photos of my system and toss them in here once i get the chance to !

hey guys...take a look at this beauty! are the tubes in the right positions? on the far left is the sylvania 6sn7GT driver tube, and in the middle and on the right are the stock electro harmonix 6sn7eh tubes.

Thanks for the input...god this amp is TRULY incredible...I got it yesterday and I'm still in the "burn in" process - - I'll definitely keep you guys posted with the sonic improvements over the hpa-1 in a few weeks once this sucker is fully burned in!

hey everyone, just a quick question...out of the 3 tube inputs, which socket is for the driver position? Also, what do the other two sockets do exactly? I'm completely new to tube amps and would like to develop a better understanding of the basic operating principles of this marvelous amp...
