    Yin Lu Mei m400 portable usb dac/amp (Ak4499, 3.5SE, 4.4BAL)

Hm, since I installed the new driver a couple of weeks ago I haven't experienced a single issue with my M400 Plus and A2 as a DAC. Before, I had some episodes of sound distortion and disappearance for a minute or two (as if some buffer was overflown) in Win 10. With that, the software system...

Has anyone tried the new Windows USB driver for all SA9227 Yinlvmei devices (S1/S2/S3/A1/A2/A3/M400/M400PLUS)?

Welcome to the club) KANA, how's the overall M400+ experience? Have you got the M400+ built on AKM 4499 DAC or the one with ESS 9038 DAC (the M400E Plus model)?

Well, Dargin, since you like bass players, I'd recommend listening to this guy I realize that he might be too heavy, but anyways. His Sleep Deprivation 2019 album is very, very cool, I think. Its not only groovy and full of technicality, but also demonstrates great variability and...

Dargin, are you enjoying audio Nirvana with W1?:) Can you share any findings\revelations\subliminal messages found in seemingly so familiar records?:) And could you write a few words on how you managed to run APlayer and DSD playback on Linux?

Pretty much ordinary situation with YinLvMei products:) I've experienced the same with A1 and A2

Hmm, did not know there was another Album player, or rather Albumplayer out there:) However, the one you refer to is more of a media player with bells and whistles, not even sure if it is DSD-capable. The Album Player (APlayer) by Igor Antonov is more audiophile, I think

Yeah, I read about it too and even installed it on Linux Mint 20.1 but did not manage to configure it properly yet( As for media center Linux distros, there are few options with Album Player on the official page. You can try some of them, they seem to be small and minimalistic

Just a quick comparison of HQPlayer and Album player resource consumption on Win10, Intel i5-3570k, 16 Gb RAM (DSD 128, .dsf) via the M400Plus DACamp (it has the same SA9227 USB chip as W1 and A2 DAPs). Plays via Album player (ASIO), HQPlayer is idle: Plays via HQPlayer (WASAPI/ASIO is not that...

Superb! Thanks for the info on a DSD-capable software player for Linux:) Will try it on my old Linux system. It has quite a list of custom Linux kernel packages for enabling native DSD support though. @DarginMahkum, do I need to install these ones beside the player itself...

Well, it's not that I did not like LPGT, just did not find it anything much impressive in general or extraordinary in terms of SQ for the price:) But tastes differ and if you have an opportunity to try it, I'd recommend doing it

@DarginMahkum , have you managed to play DSD in the native mode (with "D" letter displayed near the digital filter number on the W1 small upper screen) in Linux, by the way?:)

I guess it's the tuning as W1 has an enormous output power according to the specs

Yes, this is the sequence. Well, I listened to M400plus via Bluetooth just a couple of times, so no problem either:)
