I absolutely hate to start a "what should I buy post" but I honestly read the last about 15-20 pages of this thread and still cannot make up my mind. I want to invest in a turntable rig...budget is around $500-$600. I need turntable and preamp. Want to buy new because I don't have as much time...

Does anyone know how many CIEMS musicians go through performing on stage? They get pretty sweaty and stuff...if they are not having problems, I doubt a little gym activity will destroy these things.

Well, I know its not my amp because everything else was working fine out of it. So, like someone mentioned, it has to be the cable. I emailed Grado and its going to be $100. I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet on this one.

Huge difference in comfort as well for my ears at least, size of ear plays a role here. Regarding audiologist, well you gotta do what you gotta do. Also, make sure you tell the audiologist to use a bite block.
