    Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless

B&W dropped these down $100 (US) in price recently which is a great deal!   However, does anyone know if this is because an updated model is on the way soon?

    Why the Beats Hate?

Spot on! I see a very well known reviewer who is a big Beats fan stated recently that if "you listen to music through your phone you aren't listening to music" then runs right out and buys the iPhone 7 plus. (for better quality phone calls I presume)   PS: Dear Reviewer, Apple says all of...

iPhone 7 Will Revolutionize Portable Audio for the First Time in a Decade

It can come in handy in an office situation but I agree with the other points you mentioned. As mentioned I use it both situations for music so I'm already prepared to go wireless should it become the standard. It comes down to remembering to charge your wireless headphones as well.

I think James is trolling us and will eventually fess up to having removed the jack, the screen and the wheel.

iPhone 7 Will Revolutionize Portable Audio for the First Time in a Decade

You're right, but I was referring to people who want it in iPhone and in some ways expected it from Apple by now. Some people and I can only speak for myself here like not so much the phone itself but the apps it offers for specific things for work, creativity etc. Then there's also issues like...

iPhone 7 Will Revolutionize Portable Audio for the First Time in a Decade

I agree with this.   I like my iPhone 6 and find that I've used it for music both wireless and with headphones many times before this change was announced for the 7 last week. IMO it's nice to have both choices in a phone if possible, but I also think it's important to voice expression to...

Exactly! Pair that puppy up with some Plantronics backbeat fit cans and phone call interruptions forever gone! I love an all in one, but calls/texts just suck during workouts where music matters the most!

Yep, it's sounding to be like the truly affordable really great sounding iPod Classic so many of us originally wanted now with Bluetooth. Bring it on!

From a technical standpoint it's my understanding that James FiiO personally sprinkled some newly discovered magic dust on all of the inside parts of each and every X1 Gen 2 player. But in all honesty that doesn't change the fact that I'm listening to Stevie Wonder right now.

Damn straight! Your original review sold me on the X1, this DAP with Bluetooth is a no brainer especially at this price point. I just created its own thread as it rightfully deserves.     http://www.head-fi.org/t/819817/fiio-x1-ii-2nd-gen-w-bluetooth     PS: BTW FiiO please don't remove...

iPhone 7 Will Revolutionize Portable Audio for the First Time in a Decade

Interesting how Apple's new version of the Beats Solo3 wireless with the W1 chip still includes a 3.5mm cable for when the battery dies down. I realize this removal of the jack on the IP7 is just in its initial/transition stage, but just an interesting observation that they didn't go full plunge...
