The 300W rating you refer to is the maximum input power that the speaker can handle without damage. The specs for the driver don't mean much without the the tweeter, cabinet and crossover taken into account. You say you listen at 20-30 watts. How do you know? Volume pots are NOT linear.  ...

I'm having a problem with Jriver Media Center 20. Plays fine for 5-10 minutes and then starts "stuttering". I'm using an HP Laptop and Windows 8.1. I was using MC19 and upgraded to 20 along with the new laptop. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Has anyone had the same issue? Thanks
