After buying the amazing es9038pro based sabaj d5 dac last week .. The r70x is the first in a long line of end game headphones for me to try . They arrive in 2 days. I already have the m40x and love it's neutral detailed sound.. I just need a bit more seperation more spatial information more...

The owner of audioscience review site told me this morning that they have a d5 coming thier way after i offered to send mine for measurement.

Well i finally got a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter and ..wow just wow.. the detail of the 9038pro has to be heard to be believed.

i know mate and iv'e had millions of them in the past but not tonight. Anyway .. Things not getting off to a good start.. the rca line out is very noisey connecting to a pair of mackie powered monitors. i'm really hoping this is the fault of the cable i happen to have at this time...

Well, it arrrived but .... i forgot to buy a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter so can't listen tonight .. :frowning2: as a side note.. it is larger than i imagined. gonna have to get a new desk

Selling these was my only regret in 13 years.

Got a D5 coming tommorow. My first big purchase in a looonggg time. I'm hoping it's my end game dac then i can focus on end game headphones. I'm using a neat little es9028 dac at the moment.
