Ultrasone Edition 5 closed back headphone in very good condition, with one light small scuff, and an inconsistency in the gloss of the leather headband (maybe needs oiling).
Sweet sounding closed backs with gorgeous construction, light and comfortable.
Comes with 3 cables: 2.5mm balanced, 3.5 mm and 3.5 mmm with microphone and control and carrying case.
1/8 inch to 1/4 inch adapter included.
Shipping is free in the lower 48.

bargain; (i already ‘ave a set); they take 1500hours to get their sound (metal drivers)..
from hours 200-800 are ‘very hard to listen too, around hour 1200 they become ‘good again’.
i went with alo silver;
i’d take these over senn hd800s…. (detail/clarity), they have an incredible soundstage for a closed back, and are superb for positional audio: 9n part to s-logic

health benefits of shielding from magnetic field, and ‘exceptionally high end sound’ (plus comfort/c0mfort/comfort)

super lightweight, and exceptional materials and build quality.
very few reviews understand these headphones- the ones that nail it identify them as in ‘a very rare’ class of headphones (like some stax electrostatics if I recall)
true dynamic sound- these were what I sought when I realised expensive planars just didn’t cut it (for me)

I love mine, either straight from an m11+ (dap) or reference grade headphone amps- they scale well and work from anything (eg playstation controller)

edit:those Ethiopian rams leather cups look immaculate (as new?) bargain

I have the Edition 8 EX, and absolutely am in love with them. Is there enough difference to justify owning both? The Ultrasones, just completely blew my mind! From what I understand, the edition 8, was the replacement for the ED-5. Thank for any help, any one may be able to offer! :)

different sound profiles.. an owner could happily own both (so long as their finances cause zero concern when having investment tied up in 'headphone collection')

I just received these and comparison to my Ca1a these are brilliant I'm not fully able to wrap my mind around how good these are .. wow
