The sq on my Nexus 7 isn't the best, but it's great at everything else. I luv it,... And you must be in luv if you didn't steal ya toys back. My wife has the iPad 2, but now she's eyeing my Nexus. Nope, not my precious!!! Lol!!!:D

No but you can improve it by plugging in the C&C BH. :D

I only saw my Nexus 7 for about 2 weeks before my girlfriend decided to "borrow" it.

Okay, have to say I'm really very, very impressed.

I'm going through and A/Bing the ES700 against the MDR-1R, ES10 and Momentum. I'm not about to say that any one of these are better than the others but the ES700 is definitely sitting at the same table.

I had all those and Dt1350 and m80 , with exception the momentum wich I "A/B" compared anyway and the es700 clear winner to all of them when it comes to lively mids.
Audio Technica is just on another level when it comes to sonic signature of the mids.

I'll only do HP out,...so what I hear is about it. I have a few other devices for music anyway. But, in a pinch, it'll do!!! :D

That is truly insane. Truly, truly insane.

Hey Ayyy, you haven't truly heard what these ES700s are capable of if you don't have the WS55 pads. These pads kicks up not just their overall comfort a couple of notches but sound as well.

I wasn't that impressed with them cuz they just sounded like a slight upgrade to the older ES7s, but with those WS55 pads, lordy lord!!!

Yes i have both of them, and still need to try the WS55 pads on the ES7 to see if they improve as well.

If I owned the ES700 I would not have a problem with spending on the ESW9 pads, just because the ES700 do not sound like a ~ $150 headphone...
