Thanks

It didn't recognize mine at all. Even when I reformatted it to exFAT.
Does anybody know a source for a coax jumper? I want to stack my DX50 with the D12 and hate the big loop the stock cable leaves.

To all microSD card owners, getting a card reader is worth every penny. I got myself a USB 3.0 compatible card reader and was able to increase throughput by a factor of 3 connecting it to a USB 3.0 port. Another thing I discovered, I have an older microSD SDHC card and the DX50 refuses to read it even on the OTG line. My two SDXC SanDisk cards work fine either through theDX50 or card
reader. I formatted one of them as exFat quick format and it worked flawlessly.
Hope everything is fine with yours.
here's a question for you musicheaven, my card reader is built into my laptop and tends to get hot sometimes. does this happen with your external reader? I'm thinking it may be getting hot because the reader is inside my laptop
I have one I used, my meenova card reader that I connect onto the DX50 micro USB input, that one heats up but my USB 3.0 microSD reader is cool and is definitively outside my PC. I guess it all depends on the implementation. As long as it does not start a fire or melt plastic, you're good to go.
