A quick question, what do you think about Fiio EM-3? It's on shipping with X3ii. 

I very much like the EM-3's. I compare them very favorably to the VE Monk/Monk+. And they fit my smaller ear canals much better than the Monk's. A worthy addition, especially when comparing them to the "stock buds" included with MOST Smartphones. As a throw-in? Golden!

My guess is that the X3 III will be a slightly feature reduced version of the X5 III.  Which would be a very nice setup methinks.
 
We can simply interpolate between the X1 II and the X5 III to get a pretty good handle on the next X3.
 
Android, just one microXD card, bluetooth, decent amount of power, good chipset, USB C.  A pretty safe bet.

My guess is that the X3 III will be a slightly feature reduced version of the X5 III.  Which would be a very nice setup methinks.

We can simply interpolate between the X1 II and the X5 III to get a pretty good handle on the next X3.

Android, just one microXD card, bluetooth, decent amount of power, good chipset, USB C.  A pretty safe bet.

I think the same way as you, all I need is simply good android running spotify streaming through wifi and usb host enable.
I trust to FiiO about hardware config, but apperently they are going to implement single AK4490 with SE output only. I hope they use buf634 instead of lmh6643, Would be nice adopt volume like x5iii has.

No USB-C. One dodgy cable and you may have to kill your player goodbye.

How much is «a lot of time», and what exactly does reading the card mean? Mine takes maybe two or three minutes for updating the library consisting of 6187 titles (181 GB) on a 200 GB card, if that's what you mean.

What is the frimware version of your X3II now? You may try to update the firmware to FW2.0 to see whether it helps?
 
And you fail to browser the files from 'browser file' as well?
 
Please also try to reset the media library from system setting as well.

Hi FiiO, may I know is it possible to add more custom EQ in future firmware upgrade? So that ppl no need to keep adjusting EQ when switching headphone, as each headphone/IEM may not perfect and need some slight EQ to help, please...
