Not to fond of the silver colour wheel, possible to make it black/grey/or something?

Any how about colour options as well? Would be nice to have a brushed white metal look =)

agree with you , the outlook is not decided yet.

right now with DAP's I have.  The one feature that would get me to invest in another is a user replaceable battery.

Usb otg is useless.... Not needed. As long as it has a LO it's fine. Make it roughly the same size as the e11 and you have a winner.

I like shape a however you will probably get sued by apple.

Sandisk didn't get sued for the Fuze. And given a lot of these lawsuits depend on idiots' perceptions (like how they showed non-car enthusiasts whether this Hummer looked like a Jeep or vice versa, forgot how that really turned out), they should have, given I've heard people referring to them as "iPods."

It makes no sense to design it to have no built-in memory, even the Clip+ has it. At least 2 GB is a must nowadays.
I would suggest at least 3 colour versions: black, silver, white.
Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi? Is it possible at this price point? After all an audio streaming is a worldwide trend...
DAB digital radio?

In a device that small?! And which we hope wouldn't need to have a portable charger at the ready?! Just get a Note 3 - it has 16gb internal memory, high res audio, streaming (and instead of choosing between the phone as server or remote for a speaker system, the wristwatch thingy will be its remote), and your carrier will subsidize it anyway unless you want pure Android from Amazon. (IF they release one)

I'd be surprised if they can make that possible in a device this small going for this cheap, however if it is easy to swap out at home with the right tools, that'll be a great bonus. And also that by the first year the Fiio dealers should stock up the batteries.

I have voted for A X1. I think  also wider screen size will show more information about song, which is important to me.

I would like also hear more information about X7. Fiio is planning so many daps, so i do not know for what should i save money X1, X3 (scroll wheel?), X5, X7.

Sub'd and voted for A, more user friendly IMO.

@James, any chance of using Audio Out through USB?

It supports normal sized SC cards, not micro ones. So we can install 256 gb or maybe even higher? I think I misunderstood, it supports micro sized ones I think now. Confused a bit for the moment

Maybe I missed in the thread but, any info related to DAC section?

Thanks a lot James, you give so many options to us, audio lovers. Everyone can find something they like in your product family.

I was darn sure about getting X5 but now thinking about possible combinations of X1 + amp or amp/dac (if USB Audio Out is there) or maybe even wait 1 darn year more and get the complete package, X7.

You get that right James, you and your team are simply awesome. Full Support to FiiO from me always.

I am actually looking at the 256GB storage xD

Will it support ALAC as well like the FiiO X3?

Yes, it can support all the music format as X3 and 192k/24b sample rate/bit depth too.

not, I will share with you the newest information. now the big problem is

not matter what we do, or it looks like a iPod, or a Sansa, or a SONY, or maybe iaudio, iriver style. anyway, I think we will stick with scroll wheel and hardware bottoms around it . the same as X5 but looks different.

I have try a lots in X5 and feel it is the best solution even better than iPod Classic.
