Are they reliable? Maybe they wanted to be first and this price is safe option for them. This is nothing new in Europe. I'm petty sure that official presetation was planned for today.

  Though it may not be pocketable, I love the design - it seems that they went for aesthetics over utility (I haven't held one in my hand, so maybe I'm wrong), which will not suit everybody, but it looks pretty hot to me. It does look expensive as hell, for better or worse. I don't mind the price. Can I afford it? No, but it doesn't bother me at all. Some toys are more expensive than others. 

Looks easily pocketable (the angles make it look bulkier than it is. The DAC chip is a very good one that won't hold it back but until it shows nobody knows what it actually sounds like.
