Dear Sony,
I can't imagine what that first accessory accomplishes, but the bar allows the unit to lie flat on a desktop by matching the height of the hump that everyone is so excited about - "where the amplifier circuit lives"
The port is at the bulky end .That is actually a dust cover to protect the port.
The port is at the bulky end .
I wonder if there will be anyway to replace the battery once it goes dead after so many years.
I think one of the the iBasso DX50's best selling points is that the Li-Ion battery is replaceable.I can understand if Sony don't want to put that feature on less expensive players, but considering the price of the the ZX1 I don't think a replaceable battery would be asking all that much.
then again neither would a micro sd card slot and we all know that is never going to happen.
I wonder which DAC it will be using, someone needs to buy and tear it apart with good photos and all !
As for me, I don't think I'll get this puppy. Too expensive and I'm almost always in my home anyway.
The S-Master HX chip is the DAC chip and the Amping chip. It's a class D digital amplifier I believe.
