It's a shame they didn't have a 128gb option for the f800 series. I notice they have the f887 with 64gb of storage though, but you can't preorder that in the UK.
 
But anyway this zx1 looks lovely. I would be very tempted to buy it, my wallet wouldn't be happy but at a stretch I could afford it.

You don't have to get the 128 Gb version.  I got a 1Tb WiFi HDD for it and it works.

I thought with streaming you could only stream at 16/44. Or am I getting confused with something else?

You don't stream it after it was decoded.  It streams to your F as the file then processed from the app.  I use Neuton Player which I think it does down sample, but that's the issue with the app not streaming itself.  You can load any player app that supports network drive mount (not stream) and it will work.

That's not really streaming but being able to play remote files. Streaming usually refers to a server unpacking the file and streaming the bits to be converted.

Oh, I see, the Sony NWZ-ZX1 has built in Wifi! Very cool, and almost as good as having a OTG port (not quite, but still...)
