Do you think cars should have 2 gears then instead of 6? My motorcycle can break most speed limits in 1st gear, does that mean it should only have 1 gear then?

The higher gears are so you can sit lower in the rpm range, not so you can run them up and achieve max speed on the highway. (for most car designs anyways)

I think he's saying that his car is so much more powerful than is required for a country with a 55-65mph speed limit.

Anything with more than 100whp has more power than you need for U.S. speed limits.

And this is the car she replaced. I couldn't be happier with the swap! *Sigh* I do love my Alfas! But not the new ones ... just the old carbied flat 4s.

It would depend more on torque and gearing in their case, diesel engines aren't known for their HP, a 100hp diesel might make 200+ ft/lbs.

when I still had my 1992 500E ... 326HP, 375 ft/lbs torque. If you know nothing about it, it was the only car Mercedes did in conjunction with Porsche, it spent time between both factories. Under 7,000 came to America, 12,000 total manufactured (if I remember correctly)

Someone decided to turn right on red without carefully looking, at that was the last of this car. But, I'm still ok!

To make this post EVEN BETTER, I'm including pictures of it with me in a Franklin the Turtle costume. I used to work in a toy store...

95 Honda Del Sol VTEC
8200 rpm before tach enters red area, revs like a sewing machine, recently painted brighter BMW red over stock Honda milano red.

Recently did massive stereo upgrade with Pioneer head unit and Alpine 6 speaker inside setup, powered sub in the trunk

Also it was cool to like NIN in 1995

Yeah but since 1995 I have discovered nordic dark metal......need an Opeth decal now for rear window!

Also next auto project is some nice chrome tech style wheels and get disc brake calipers painted red perhaps.......stock Honda del sol wheels are pretty mediocre
