What's the black FR curve?
I that would make me super excited to see, hopefully they address the 820s "eccentricities" while they're at it.Can't wait for measurements on this one, it will be exciting to see, I have a feeling there will come an updated HD 800s in the near future as well.
I'm really glad to see that Sennheiser is still at it after the big split. They've been perfecting this model for nearly 30 years now since the 580, cheers to another 30.

Doesn’t look like raw to me. The blue curve is probably the raw but no way to know for sure.
If black is raw then that’s a planar given how the sub bass response is flat.
Do you know for sure or are you just guessing?

660S original has been discontinued (apparently). No longer on Sennheiser.com

go to the over ear headphone section and look. the direct page might still be up in a google search, but they aren't listed otherwise.

why do I even bother? I hate people so much.

These look more and more like something to get a couple years down the road and not spend $600 on initially. That is a STEEP price for a 600 series headphone. Guess Sonova wants to recoup some of their money back.
