I don't have a facebook account so I can't see what the guy was fussing about. Can anyone give me a synopsis? Thanks

guy says that a hiby dongle is bad with lots of insults, then goes on a tirade on trying to have the mojo2 specs on another dongle and insulting joe just because he dared say that spewing insults was pointless and that others tried it and said his polar oppsite

I don’t have a Facebook account either, but I can imagine what this is about…
I own quite a few HiBy products and like them. Are they perfect? No… But by having somebody like Joe around, his dedication to address issues, and enthusiasm to improve users audio experience, it shows that HiBy cares about us

So @Joe Bloggs, move on, continue doing what you have been doing with the same love and patience… eventually we’ll ALL know who is the bad guy…

Sincerely i have jumped from fiio to hiby because of you @Joe Bloggs . You answered technically to my questions, you've always been very active here giving insight, and your work with the plugins is nothing short of amazing, and part of why i have an RS8.
I hope Hiby knows how to spot a crappy troll and just bans that guy.
I have experienced devices who were sound-impaired (i thought that they kinda sucked), but one thing is a personal opinion another is something you share on an open forum, where one should be more analytic.

Also, for future reference, engaging these trolls too personally is counterproductive.
1. Report him (insults have no place on a review)
2. Just write a "for a different take from a very experienced reviewer, here is the link''

Then do NOT engage these guys. Onky one pplite answer with the other reviewer, and then ignore. Otherwise if you emgage such an OBVIOUS troll he will only look at making bait.
The best advice as @Joe Bloggs has already mentioned:
“Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.”
-George Carlin

Guys can anyone care to elaborate what the filter does to the sound with normal user language?? I dont understand the technical stuff and science but maybe can someone explain in a simpler way like "it become warmer, brighter, more sound stage, etc". Thank you.

There's a set of 11 filters available in this package to replace the original set on the RS6 or RS8. Each differs in its goal but the general advantage over the stock filters is that the purpose of each is more clearly stated and more better achieved. But it sounds like you need a primer in what AA filters might aim to achieve in the first place.

And if the contents of the above link don't yet make sense to you and/or you don't hear differences between the different choices, the MSEB or the new parametric EQ may be more what you need in terms of tuning the sound.

Thank you for the help .I kind of understand what the filter does a bit. But above 20khz i dont think i can hear that high to notice the difference. But still it is interesting.

Joe--Thank you for getting Darwin V2 to the RS2. I installed it today and see that it's now properly reporting Firmware V 1.3.

Just a quick question: If I just want to use the Darwin Ultra setting, should I select
NOS as on (toggle over to right) or off (toggle over to left)?

NOS off. Darwin Ultra is a setting designed to bring out the best in OS and NOS, on an oversampling platform.
