Post Your Photography Here #2

Haha. If only it were actually possible... the shooting space I have is extremely small; I'd need a 14 mm (135 film equivalent) lens for a full body shot. Sadly, I don't have $2400 at my disposal at the moment.

I will bring one over...

I made a good bunch of photographs a while ago with a friend, in the tear gas. Had a lot of fun that day :

Amazing shots, congrats!

Wow, that's insane.  Hopefully there was no physical harm to the photographer!

I came out of this completely fine (though eyes and throat were hurting like hell for a moment because of the gas).

Thanks for the kind feedback :D, I wish I could carry on photography, but I chose to begin collecting headphones instead (i.e. money problems).

Great to see such keen photojournalists in our little world. Most of us are content snapping things we think are cool. Your stuff is relevant and gutsy. Thanks.

My latest photo is just of the Zodiac Platinum DAC. I have a couple more images here.

I got my new camera, a Sigma DP2 Merrill yesterday. Today, my friend agreed to be my model. These are the results!

I can't post them here because the JPEGs are over the head-fi's 10mb file limit. The RAW files from this camera range from 45 to 60mb!

A bit of amateur product photography. I seriously need a macro lens and a light box, but these turned out surprisingly well considering how badly these were kludged (and I forgot to adjust the exposure on a couple of them).

You might want to look into the resize function.

(J/K, some very nice portraits there.)

And compromise that Merrill resolution? I think not! :)

(Thanks!)

Very beautifull picture set. Great colours.

VSCO stuff is really nice once you get used to fine tuning it for your purposes.

I don't have a lightbox solution, but close up filters are what I've been using for a macro solution on a micro budget. They screw on similar to UV filters, and good ones don't degrade IQ appreciably. Just search "close up filter" on Amazon, and you'll find plenty of options by reading reviews.

Those are razor sharp and the skin tones are perfect.
