Very generous compliment, though I definitely don't belong in the same breath as Escher, especially considering I really didn't do much --- I was in Taroko Gorge a few days ago, and we went into the pagoda of Xiangde Temple atop a hill deep within the gorge. I merely looked up and clicked the shutter button. It's a beautiful place, though, and definitely worth a visit for anyone considering a trip to Taiwan.
AFAIK, the matte standard is now 1.85:1, while back in the cool, old-school days, some films were shot anamorphically via CinemaScope with a 2.35:1 aspect ratio.

Single light softbox, cropped to 16:9 from a 2:3 half body shot.
Haha. If only it were actually possible... the shooting space I have is extremely small; I'd need a 14 mm (135 film equivalent) lens for a full body shot. Sadly, I don't have $2400 at my disposal at the moment.
