These just arrived today from Hong Kong. At $45, these have amazing sound quality. I'm almost willing to say they're on par with the HD600s, these have a slight V-curve comparatively.
Denon DM39. Necessary replacement for my 12 year old Marantz 66 KI Signature amp that decided to die a few weeks back. I'd been making do with a pair of audioengine a2's and a squeezebox touch but just wasn't cutting the mustard. Fully featured including full ipod/iphone integration (plug in the ipod on the usb at the front and play whatevers on the ipod)optical IN, line in, DAB and FM radio and plays mp3s/wma from usb stick.
With a SNR of 90dB, it's hardly audiophile quality. However, I no longer wish to rip off my ears off and/or puke when listening to music on my notebook. If there was any doubt, let me assure you that onboard Conexant "SmartAudio HD" is awful, and that for the money, the Creative Labs Recon3D is not all that bad.
