Nocs dual dynamic NS 600 crush..Solid elevated bass, peaky treble..Clear mids but slightly recessed..If you don´t like treble these are not for you. However neat package overall, works with iphones and what not. I use them to and from work at the moment paired with my LG G2.

The zipper cans? You should be grateful that they did not fall apart so far. At least you can easily get a new set if you want to.

Yes.

I haven't found mine yet. When I wasn't interested they were all over the place, but now they have disappeared from the stores.

Actualy I love the new EarPods that come with some apple products. The thing is they have to fit. If they are even a little too big they don't work, and to small no bass.

I found the thin foam covers that came with the dumb Kogan headphones made them fit perfect. They are super strong.

I submerged them in a stream, they still worked after drying out.

I use them all the time. $29 or less but you have to be careful as fake ones are everywhere including Amazon.com.

Because the case is even the same as original, the only way to know they are original is to get them from an Apple Store.

The fake ones have the thin bass ports at the bottom of the stem turned to a different angle. Some copies are so perfect, but the other test is the copies don't sound good at all.:christmas_tree:

Maybe I am prejudiced against the EarPods, because I don't really like them. But I guess I'll give them another look per your recomendation. It wouldn't be the first time that a "cheap" set of earphones sound actually good.
