Well, the benchmarks are out. AMD has finally caught up to Intel. The 8350 and 3570K both OC'd will perform similarly on newer games that has good support for multi-core while the Intel still wins in single core biased tasks.

Ehh. Don't really care about in game performance since the GPU is so much more important. 15% shorter video conversion or animation rendering and 70% of the power draw means intel is still my go-to.

Wonder if it's performance with AC3 is a total bloodbath like every other AMD CPU.

I know the feel. I ended up uninstalling it after just a couple hours of playing it, just because the framerate was so inconsistent. At best I was hitting like 30, MAYBE 35, but the framerate would drop seemingly for no reason.

If the 360 could pull that at 30-60 at the same settings I run mine at with me getting 15%-20% less FPS. Then something is wrong.

Looks like online might work. Just made an online game just to try it out.

Thought it might be down because when THQ first died, I jumped on and the character downloading stuff wasn't working.

Man, Skyrim just looks too good with supersampling.
