Hey Nik, are you still trying to sell your HD600?

I'm still saving up for a pair.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you, have you ever thought about using a vinyl/analogue source?

The old R-10H is dead, the two output transformers of the R-10H are now in the black box in the left side of the new amp. The two little tubes in the first central place are the 6C45 of the R-10H, the pot ALPS RK50 is the same the rest is totally new.
The amp is totally tubeb voltage regulated. I'll tell you more detailles when in my house.

HappymaN:

The HD 600 is SOLD! Sorry!

As you know I have the LINN SONDEK CD 12 and I never listened any source that can to compare with this equipment... even analogical sources....

This system is scary given that a Sennheiser Orpheus rec retail is $14,900.

So I guess the R10s are just that good. Enjoy your new amp Nik! Although I have some reservations because those headphones that the amp were tested with look cheap. I guess it shouldn't matter if it all sounds good in the end.

Nik, I'm curious why you chose to go with the black metal look for the new amp rather than a wooden case like the R-10H? That was truly beautiful! Did you go for the metal to reduce RF interference?

That amp wasn't good enough for Nik? What is the new project?

Hey friends,

wait only one week and you will see an incredible monster, never seen before...

My definitive amp is in the last building details: each little details are at the highest level.

The designer told me that this new model (two box) will be a new frontier in headphone listening. The separated power supply weight 40Kg! and the amp 15Kg! The animal needs 800W of power. The output transformers have a linear responce 12-80.000 hz. (totally hand made). 20 tubes for power supply...

A little of patience and I'll tell you about the new Ansgtrom.

A man from Japan has ordered this amp, (that will be the 002 serial number) at 20.000 €

See you soon!!!!!!!
