BTW, I owned the AT amp HA5000 and compared it to my Yamamoto HA-02 and sold my HA5000 when using the ATH-5000. You may have made a different choice from me with those amps though.

I think I'll keep them both though, I wanted a tube amp to have a different flavor.
I do think both these amps will be used mostly with my AT's though.
The Lux will be for the other brands then.

I was happily unboxing, and lining up tracks to immerse myself in...then I noticed it didn't have a typical 3.5mm jack, and there didn't seem to any included adapter that I could find. *facepalm*

I use a regular ol' Grado 1/4" to 1/8" adapter when I listen on my notebook. Sounds fine, really. Any adapter will do the trick.

Same here, I bought a Grado cable-adaptor once as well, but have a few of the little plugs lying around from other phones as well. I don't think one is better than the other.
That's why you need to buy more phones!
