Which do you prefer LCD-3 or TH-900. The $500 price is making them really attractive especially the wood cups (Best looking closed headphone IMO.

TH-900 at 500 USD, WHERE ? I would buy 3 of them for me and another 3 for kids and wife

Alright, well then....NOBODY BUY A TH-900 UNTIL I GET ONE. Last thing I need is all you greedy head-fiers to start buying TH-900s and kick the price back up again. Don't need another price bump like there was with M-50.

In fact, let's not even say TH-900 anymore. Call it HT-009 or something. That way the people at Fostex will keep thinking not a lot of people are interested as it won't show up on their stats, and maybe, just maybe they can kick the price down even further

Hi Guys, I'm new to this thread but have recently purchased a used pair of LCD3's from a another Head-Fi member in Europe, I'm UK based. There was a lot of reading and considering went on before I took the plunge and made the purchase, used they might be but they were still expensive. Initially I thought wow what a full on sound but then the more I listened the less I enjoyed them, I thought the top was dull and lacked clarity, very recessed, they lacked pizazz, a bit like a door needed opening to let the rest of the sound out. They are of Feb 12 vintage with a 231 S/N, I sure hope that this is the veil that has been discussed and not the house sound as it's not for me. I have mailed Audeze and as everyone says they have been very helpfull so I have RMA'd them back to the States at a cost of $141, no small fee! I'll post the outcome.
