Well with that price youre offering i'll buy the 940s from you if I can make up my mind. I wish you could send them to me for free(Id pay for shipping) I'd try them for a week and if I didn't like them I'd send them back(Again i'd pay for shipping). If I damaged them in any way, then id pay for them regardless whether I like them or not. If I do like them then i'd just pay the 200 through paypal if you have one. Would that be possible? If not, I completely understand.
Heya,
If they don't sell in the next few days, I'll see what we can work out.
Again, I'll just make it clear, these have a lot lighter bass than the M50. Lots lighter. These are not even neutral, honestly, they're a little shy on the bass from neutral. So it won't sound right, at least to me, for some genres you mentioned (hiphop, rock, etc). It's great for classical, acoustic, female vocals and jazz. But it's not so great (at least to me) for other genres that require more bass. So if that sounds like the kind of headphone you're after, then by all means, give it a shot. If you want a headphone that is closer to neutral, you likely should look at something else. The SRH840 comes to mind, the Fischer Audio FA-003 comes to mind.
Very best,
