If you like light and airy, then I don't think our tastes are similar enough to make your recommendations terribly accurate. I agree wholeheartedly about the Ethers though they are fantastic.
I meant there feel not sound.

They do a fall meet, yes (at least I think that is the plan). There were some of us that were not able to attend the spring meet, so we wanted to see if we could get together before the fall one. We do not have to decide on a date by next week, but it would not be terrible if we did. If there isn't any interest, that's fine too.
Anyone know if Knoxville ever has any meets/trade shows such as this?
Thanks for the replies. Might have to travel to Nashville next spring. Will probably feel intimidated since I'm a budget-fier. Would love to demo some higher end stuff though.

I drove in from Texas last time. I dont get why Houston head-fiers dont get together more often. Its the fourth largest city in the US and in the last 3 years all we had was one mini meet with about 9 people.
The Nashville meet is usually 2 1/2 (Franklin) to 3 hours (Spring Hill) away from West Knoxville.
At the last meet vendors were flying in from way outside the area and we have Head-Fi members from ALA, GA, MS, and KY drive in.
You really need a large population base to draw from for such a niche inside a niche industry/hobby.
No need to feel intimidated this is a very friendly group. Big range of budgets and some of the vendors have brought in amps you just read about.
