I bought my VIII from the distributor and they literally got shipped out the day that the sale came up. Boy did i feel dumb. I was on the fence with the VII after already having VIII and fibass but at that price probably should have jumped. It is the deal of the century…...

I don't know much about IEMs, but I do dabble in photography. I have two lenses that do pretty much the same thing 90% of the time, but one costs $120, the other $2500.

You pay a few times over for that last 10% of performance. I presume it's the same with IEMs.

I've a/b them to others in slightly lower price range and these sound much better to me, smoother with more detail.
