APE may cause problems, especially with high compression.I have a mixture of mp3,FLAC,DSF, DFF and APE... Maybe that cause the problem?

1. Is it easy to get back to the Now Playing screen no matter where I am in the device?
2. Is there a back button in the Now Playing screen that would take me back to the folder from which the track is being played?
If the stock firmware offers these 2 shortcuts, I wouldn't want the rockbox even. One click would be the best, but I can manage with 2 or 3 clicks as long as it is easy and quick.
Thanks for your help. Please let me know if any part of my question needs clarification.
Personally, I don't own anything that requires additional amplification with DX90. To be honest, I quite like the house sound as is from DX90's internal amp.
This isn't to say I've done my fair share of amping IEMs as such to flavour the sound in the past.
Generally, carrying stacks on the go bring two issues
More bulk
Two devices which need charging
But if its your (or someone's) preference to do so, that's fine.
I'll help you out with some pictures of DX90 in use to give you an idea.
