I have been looking at the HA-1 for a long time. Hope some time and Q&A can tip me one way or the other.

I could bring it up this weekend if you want to use it at home for a few weeks. I would just need a place to drop it off.

Alas, I sold it. All he negative things you read about it are true. It both warm and peaky. It wasn't for me.

Do you have any good 6080 or 5998 or equivalent tubes? I need a new power tube for my crack, and would like to try some.

I will be bringing my AKG-KXX. I hope someone has a AKG K712. 
 
I am surprised that the KXX has satisfied me for 2 years now. There is nothing special about it but then there is nothing bad to say about it either. It is time to get serious about moving up in the world.
