I guess it is up to you. Navy is quite nice as well.

I've seen sellers on Aliexpress do similar things. Reason being that it costs money to list items, so it's cheaper to increase the price when an item is out of stock and lower it back to regular price when they get more.

I will decide later today, yes the navy is nice as well
I have Dignis Red and Green from before so i wanted brown as extra color.

Now if i change it, i have to add taxes when buy a new one so it can cost me like 70 euro total to get the brown one.

Jumped on the bandwagon last week.  Shocked just how small this thing really is... like carrying a little square of music.

Anyways with FLAC files been having issues with what sounds like digital clicking noises when the track changes; generally only happens when the screen is off through messing with other settings doesn't show any rhyme or reason to the noise.  Any ideas?

Is this on a card or on internal memory?  If the former try swopping cards.

I like to say Hello for the first time to all forum members!

After owning the Plenue D for a while now and reading all the related posts in this thread, I have to kindly ask for a potential NEW problem, which may not have been discussed here so far, I guess. The problem exists to my best knowlegde as follows:

While listening to gentle piano music with a lot of quiet passages between the notes, I noticed a strange artificial noise for the first time last night. Within irregular intervals of about 10 seconds there is a regular (reoccurring) high frequency distortion (twitter) of about half a second. This is of very low level, but still clearly audible. This only happens, when the display is in OFF mode! While the display is active, this never happened, I double-checked this of course! Also, on this occasion I noticed, that there is only true gapless playing when the display is on - you can hear clearly artifacts between the tracks when the display is in OFF mode - so there is probably some relation. This happened with .wav format music files saved on internal memory only so far! I did not recognize any problems with music saved on SD storage, as far as I can tell at the moment.

So this is very strange. It may be related to a software problem, but as well to some hardware problems due to circuit design, as it only seems to happen when using the internal memory and display off.

This is annoying, as there is much more energy withdrawn from the battery when the display is in ON Mode. Also, when falling asleep, I would definitely prefer to put the display in off mode.

Did anybody detect the same problem so far? Is there any solution foreseeable?

Thanks to everybody for providing very good informations on this forum, so I could decide on this Plenue D unit, which is an absolute best buy from my point of view, and I have owned many sort of high end gear during the last thirty years.

Best regards, jazz64

I got the brown case today and have finally started hauling my Plenue D around.  I was too paranoid to lug it around so I was using the Fiio X1.  I absolutely love the form factor.  It's so small fits great in my pockets.  I was using the Sendiy M2's with it but it just didn't sound right so I went with the Monk +'s and they sound lovely paired up.

As for the leather case.  I can't say I'm impressed with it.  Although fit was top notch, the quality seems a little sub par, especially since I paid $34 for it and had to wait a bit for it to ship from Korea.  Anyway, it achieves the result of protecting the Plenue D.
