1. New boot screen (aww yiss)

1. Apple logo on the lid fades properly now
2. Blur and transparency everywhere
3. Ambiguous + button now makes app full screen
4. Full screen animation is smoother and slightly faster

 
No like

1. New spotlight is in the dead center of the screen
2. New icons are ugly, I would've preferred new blur + old icons

 
Worth it.

Yosemite is a great update to the Mac experience, i must say it made key ares better, including spotlight, even tho i find Alfred better...

I use Alfred 2 instead of Spotlight. I keep mine top-center and have for years, but I believe that you can relocate where the search box pops up if you wanted to keep it top right like Mavericks and earlier.

That's rather pretty. I like it. Too bad I have a 6 now. If I were planning to keep the same phone until it died I'd probably want to do a custom colored case like that. But since I upgrade every year it just doesn't make sense for me to bother, it'd probably ruin the resale value.
