Hello, I just got a new set of Q701's and am looking for a decent dac/amp combo that isnt a ton of cash. I currently use the UDAC2 for my pc and it just does'nt give enough juice to the Q701's (duh).... and the two dac/amp combo's that i keep seeing pop up are the D1 and the HDP for my price...

Are there any big differences between the 2? I will be using 1 to power my dt990/600. If the mk3 is a big improvement then i dont mind spending extra money but if its small =p. I will be using it mostly for gaming(rpgs,etc not much fps).

I finally received my dt990/600 and they sound awsome :D i went from 10$ walmarts---->dt990. They have good volume with just my asus xonar dx powering them. I was wondering if I should get an amp. Would it be a big difference? worth it?
