A little less but not by a lot. Your ears will rest just a tad bit more on the driver. I prefer the feel much more than the original.

Since I got my Flows for a two weeks now, I think I got issues with my pads. The right one just doesn't fit the same way the left does, my right ear always starts bothering me after a time of listening. The right pad looks different to the left, not by much though.
I watched Dan's video on cleaning up the edges of the pad for maybe 10 times, tried it, but after some listening, it turns out always the same.
I don't know if I have to deal with this, or if something isn't alright with the pad?

I have to think there were a few QC issues with foam used in these pads. Not saying it was a huge issue, but a few people have had similar problems.

Just got my e pads for the ether flows today! Wow....I like them!
I didn't expect such a big sound difference....soundstage does open up a lot. Early listens, but I really like what I hear.
They are comfortable, but because the opening is so much bigger, you do need to tweak the positioning of the headphones a bit to get an optimum position/comfort.
So far, a noticeable improvement on an already great headphone....Well done Dan!

I also want to try them, do they just lower the mids a little and leave the lows and highs untouched?

Quick question to MrSpeakers... am i okay keeping my flows in this position when I'm not wearing them? They sit nicely like this but if it's doing them no good I'd like to know.

Just that the pads press together and may deform with time. I would put the foam block they ship with between them.
Just received my Ether C Flow with two sets of pads, one's supposed to be angled, the other flat, but they look absolutely the same to me. How do I distinguish what is what?

Well, angled pads should be slightly thicker on one side.
Thanks man, it looks like I got two sets of angled pads then. They are stock on the Ether C Flows, right?
