Hows the headband fit on there? Got a big chunk o memory foam held on with elastics as my headband. Took it to our local tailor to see if he'd make a cover, but he wouldn't even try.

Are those other pads any better than the hm5? Might look into trying a pair of the hybrids or angled pads one day

Superglue is your friend

These pads are smaller and less deep so everything fits more stable on the head. I also think the soubdis closer to stock, probably due to the pads being cliset to the eae than with the HM5 pads.

One-question interview/assessment for future Labsters: "Do you have impulse control issues?" If the answer is "yes," you're in.

Lol, true!

I use Word for the text. Once I copy and paste the text into the Head-Fi review text input window, I upload my pics from my laptop.

This is how I do it as well .

Anyone here with the Somic MH463?

I'm probably buying one this week :D

I'm planning a comparison between the HI2050 and the MH463 since I couldn't fund a good one on here. I actually find the MH463 cheaper in Sweden than from China so I had it shipped to my parents. Will be a while before I grt them both though.....

I've got Somic EFI-82 MT. They're ok. A bit loose on the bottom end and strident up top. Build is pretty cheap - loose & creaky. I've put em up for sale.

Yeah, I was also disappointed with those. Broke my pair while modding them but I've still got the drivers....

Labsters,

I had posted this earlier, just waned to remind everyone about this cool little KS project. They are almost done and at the goal.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/584645150/flare-audio-a-revolution-in-pure-sound

I myself pledged for the R2A model after reading this review: http://headfonics.com/2015/05/the-r2a-and-r2pro-iems-by-flare-audio/
and browsing the flare audio thread to read impressions: http://www.head-fi.org/t/766183/flare-audio-r2pro-kickstarter-campaign

Oh and you will get the KS price whether or not the goals are met. So win win :)  Do give it a look! The R2A model seems to be quite a deal imo

I'm intrigued as well. The lack of reviews makes me worry though, I'm really trying to stop buying stuff that just ends up in a drawer after a week.....

Sadly, I do. Must sell...

Of course, no offense to the collectors out there. Just feeling the need to pare down my collection

Good thing you included that or else.....

Jk,jk

Just.......

Awesome.......

+1

This truly is one crazy hobby, we are always looking to get are hands on the next best thing, there is always something new coming out every month. Headphone's and iem's industry just exploded in the last 5 years. It's crazy what 1 company can do to the market, and if you like it or not it's Beats. the newer line up really isn't bad I have the Beat's studio 2 wireless and shockingly they sound better then all other brand wireless headphones I have tried. I really believe others in this hobby are afraid to say they like any of there products just so they don't get bashed by others in are small community.I have read articles about them it's mind boggling the percentage of the market the corner.

Nice one Peter.  You're a bit like me - first experience with Bluetooth and just didn't know what to expect. I'd love to see some advances over the next couple of years with better ergonomics, signal stability and maybe something with a slightly more reference signature.  But a good first effort at a really nice entry pointy (price)!
