I have never heard an earphone that is so amazingly well rounded. I cannot compare them to any earphone if honest. I absolutely love the sound of these!

Great to hear PhilW!!!! I'm looking forward to these little things.

Just as a heads up, I also came across this review in my googling: http://thenextweb.com/gadgets/2015/05/20/flare-audio-r2pro-headphones-brilliant-sound-and-nothing-more/

This guy seems to say that he loves the sound but doesn't think its worth £400. However, based on what he is saying, this is down to a lack of branding, extra tips and nice packaging.

Anyways, thought I would provide for discussion.

Regards,

Ravi

That guy also states
"Flare Audio has hidden all of that [Beats (..) like branding], choosing instead to focus on the music and nothing more. "

......And I thank Flare Audio for doing just that

Thank you for your impressions. If you don't mind me asking, of all the iems you've listened to, which one would be the second best in your opinion? Which pair would you take to that deserted island quality wise? And why?

Also, could you please elaborate on the soundstage?

Yeah I'm getting more excited about these. And even though he didn't think they were worth $600, what is his reference point. While expensive for two little buds, if they're as good as it seems that's a bargain. At least IMO.

Am I correct in assuming that pledges are not debited if the project is not funded by the due date?

These are an interesting proposition though I'm not certain about the 'science' behind them.  I do like the tiny form factor and the promise of Etymotic style isolation (even if Complys can't compare to the long term comfort of a CIEM).
