I did redo my flac's with compression 5 still problem.
The only thing that worked is I had to convert my flac to wav than back to flac then this new flac was able to work. The other problem is if you send a folder of flac files, 1st one will say format error.

Use MP3Tag and remove the tags on those files. I had this problem with 1-2 albums. You do not need tags for this player  as its completely folder browsing based and they're interfering.

Keep in mind this is not the case for every album, but it depends on which ripper or decoder was used.

Yes, it will!

1) Highlight every single folder on your micro sd card by pressing Ctrl + A.

2 ) Right Click then open them in MP3Tag.

3) Press Ctrl + A again to highlight every file whilst inside MP3Tag. Then right click and press "Remove Tag"

Then off it goes removing them all, quite quickly too.

Please read this post linked below where I had the problem. It will explain my situation and how I haven't needed to remove "all tags" but why not? If the cards utilized for X2.

Great. I was trying to find Mp3Tag for mac.
one more Q. this app will allow to remove tags for flac format ?

I don't know of one for Mac users sorry, those instructions above are for Windows.

I've no experience with Mac laptops/devices.

Have a read here: https://www.google.com.au/#q=tagging+program+mac

(and yes, on Windows version it removes FLAC tags)

Nice app.
it seems is easier to go thru what I did. convert to wav and back to flac.
I wrote a small script that will do that for each folder that need to transferred.
However try to find out if flac tags does interfere with it.

update:
I used a free application Kid3.app for Mac managed to remove tags from a test flac file and then transferred it to player. It did work as "H20Fidelity" suggested.

Mp3Tag run on window. I am on mac.
In my last post, I indicated the two solutions.

I wished manual would explain that tags can interfere. Now that I know, there are many ways to overcome it.

Thanks for all the support here. It was very helpful.

You may not even require this course of action, most of my files have tags and work no problem, so everyone needs to worry not or start doing this process.

If however, you run into the problem there's a solution for you guys. =)

Yeah, apparently only some people have issues with certain files. So not an issue with the x2 by default as I haven't had a single problem with any of my flac files - most likely it's depending on the software one has used for the flac conversion.

Thanks I am so juiced. Now that my flacs are running.
I also tried a 3rd way by just copies files then from inside xduoo then removed all tags using Kid3.app and did worked. Right know am listening to my music and sounds great as I reply here.

I also estimated about 1050 average flac (5 min) will be able to fit into 32Gb memory for this little player.
