did you already place an order for the vali? or do you simply mean you will buy one when they become available?

I'm afraid that all those who had the chance to listen to the new Kennerton Vali have already passed order (pre-order) of this headphone and hope to receive it  before Christmas (unless a pleasant surprise).

these headphones are never available but somehow seem to be able to available to order overseas. I am always clicking on the kennerton site to see if either the odin or vali are available for order to no avail, yet overseas eastern europeans are able to pre-order etc. What are your realistic goals for making them available to the United States?
 
I have to use my gear as collateral but I won't sell it and hold the funds until they are available again. It seems as though you guys have some interest with the folks here on head-fi so what's up? I know there have been issues with the Odin driver etc and that you make small batches. Will production batches ever increase...obviously the demand is there.

Yes guys, we know ^__^
For Vali, in next 10 days we should have about 10pcs assembled total, this is pre-release run basically. Main production will start next month. I strongly believe we should not have Odin-kind of problems with production of Vali. We already have drivers and most other parts for them.
Pre-orders placed for Vali at this time should be covered during summer, hopefully even before July.
The reason that they are not available on our site, but are available (to some extent) in Europe are that Pierre currently takes most of our production as it is ready, so we just do not have anything left to offer

For Odin, schedule is the same - we recieved magnets recently, so in about a month production will continue.
 
Once we cover pre-orders and get at least some of both models in stock, we will send out review samples, and search for more distributors around the world.

Awesome and thank you for the response. If you ever would like to start a tour with dedicated headfiers I am very much available, even to do so with a pair of odins or valis I purchase myself at some point. I can't think of a headphone I have wanted to hear more. Basically my HD800S is keeping the Odin or Valis seat warm because while I like it a lot I really want more bass yet it is rare to find good bass apart from the HE6 in TOTL headphones. Since everyone likes both more than the LCD-X I see no other options for me in the long run.

I get the K. Vali (of loan) in one week (after 20 or April 21); I will weigh it (along with my Odin).
I keep you informed of the result.

Kennerton will be sending the Vali to our upcoming meet which is right around the corner. You bet I will post some impressions of them. I have been eager to hear a kennerton open back for sometime now. I am glad it is the Vali.

I plan to visit this show tomorrow. To try new cable from Kennerton and to get my brand new walnut-cups Odin )
