Its a bit too much really to take in atm, but I'm trying.
 
I'm also going through some transition switching from tobacco to vaping, bit strung out. My bank card got compromised today and canceled just before I get paid tomorrow. H20 isn't really in the ultimate comfort zone.
 
Some insight into my extremely personal life on a public forum.
 
We'll get there Kiats. Tralucent products and all.

Indeed, we often forget.

Actually, everything panned out nicely, new vape tank, bank let me withdraw money to live for now and I bought Tralucent 1Plus2.2 tonight.

Amazing turn of events! :)

Now, need to watch out this frisky Tralucent 2.2 doesn't outperform Ref.1. Not looking good for Ref.1 I'm afraid but it still holds its own unique signature. :wink:

 More importantly now you have most of the Tralucent offerings, time to concentrate on ENJOYING MUSIC.  Don't forget you need to rest and sleep LOL or you need us to send you reminder to go to bed?

any comment on how the 1 plus 2 first version, compares to ref1 not ref1 too

My first Tralucent was the 1Plus2 and it was displaced by the current Ref.1 back almost two years ago.  I've found Ref.1 has more balance between the low (I should have admitted the low is a tad too much) and the high.  I'm a happy man ever since

as i am selling my sony xba z5 so someone offered me a trade and asked 300 usd on top of my z5, i told him i already bought a ref1 and that i will think of his offer trade

I will say more when I'm at my computer. Ref.1 is still an excellent earphone and I'm not selling any of the Tralucent IEMs. You don't really upgrade from any Tralucent product because each excel. Just take a different scenic route each time.

And in my review of the Ref1 back almost 2 years ago to date, I made references and comparisons to the 1Plus2 - both early versions.

I don't know, I did some comparing for a few hours with Ref.1 and 2.2 this afternoon, well switched between both on/off.
 
I seem to get quite a bit more detail retrieval with 2.2. Probably that damn Toxic Cable.

I'll be getting some cables in to test soon, only then when I put a silver/gold on Ref.1 can I make real judgement.
