DX50 Bug List, Wish List Fix

They doesn't completely fix the problem as there is a little interruption between tracks, it is not a completely seemless cross over. I still class this as a bug! :)

well, any chance some issue with the tracks?  what format is that in and how they were encoded?  I have had similar issue with my ak120 (and ak100) for mp3 encoded in vbr....

Well personally on my dx50 I have never had the issue of missing/cracking 1st second (I set my gapless to 5sec since firmware 1.00) nor have had any interruption on real seamless albums (mostly concerts).

Hey, have FLAC files. There is no 'break' in-between the tracks but a little glitch if that makes sense?

Not tried MP3 yet but I will ASAP. Thanks.

Don't have this issue when playing on my Xperia Z phone btw!

What's the brand & model number of your new MicroSD card?  I'm still using my Sandisk and still have problems.

I have a SanDisk microSDHC Mobile Ultra 64GB (Class 10) (SDXC) .
I noticed that the card was slightly slow on the copying part. A class 10 card on USB 2 writes flac files on my system round 8-9 MB/S and this was never faster then 7 - and also I had a problem to do a disc checkup on the card - so I described my problem and received a new card - it copied in the correct speed (still not 10 MB/S  ) but steadily enough. I had to do nothing special, just open the card - copy to it and slap it in, started the SD scan on the DX50 and ten fifteen minutes later (wasn't there to clock it - had panncakes) I was enjoying my music and carefully checked that all albums were there. (This didn't work before - only some of the albums had been scanned and added).

If you worry for the player - put some 5GB of flac on the internal space and scan it and see if that works- mine worked flawlessly with that.

Good luck, having a new card finally made this player into what I hoped when I first found it.

Not sure - I use a maximum setting of 1000x1000 px in my rip program. It usually finds something around 450-700 something PX and add as jpg based files. I use both folder cover.jpg and ID3 tag imbedded.
That works at least - but I have one album where I have added a PNG file and that doesn't show. Anyone else experienced that?

not true. volume key is still locked when hold is activated. that would totally defeat the purpose of a hold switch hahaha.

Want to report back that the 1.2.2 is the best firmware yet.  The DX-50 now completes & recognizes all songs in my mircoSD card without the need to perform manual scanning.  The songs are also listed in a numerical order.  It went through my 64GB Sandisk microSD under 5 minutes.  Thanks for your hardwork iBasso DX50!!  Hope they can make the screen a tad less sensitive.

I just ejected the card, reinserted it, and it completely scan the card afterward.  Very please with the DX50 now.

try deleting the album.img folder and see if that helps

Ok, took a few times but I think it FINALLY scanned the entire card (at least I think it scanned everything).  This still sort of bothers me as how am I to trust that the listing will automatically be updated if I add to the card?  I would really hate to delete the album.img folder everytime I add to the the card.
